 How International Travel and Airports has changed in last two decades

I first took flight in 2002 and then travel was dominated by US and European. Today the Asian are really picking up and busiest Airports will be dominated by Asian. Tokyo yesteryear's only contender is not in the top.

Such a big change - I still remember all flights on-route to home used to go via European Airports and they all looked so Regal. Now the same European and even US Airports look so old and Jaded with Shiny Edifices that have sprung up in Asia.

Did I forget DALLAS (DFW) became 2nd most busiest with Pandemic - Mauke pe Chauka

But as Travel /Airport is harbinger to economical winds of change - it a clear re-passing of mantle of economic might back to Asian Countries. The "US and European had few centuries of hegemony and it is coming back to old hands" - said by someone else.
